Dr. Francisco Javier González Compeán. Compositor

(August/19/1978, León, Guanajuato, Mexico)

​Active composer and professor-researcher at the University of Guanajuato. “Platinum Prize Winner” in the “Carl Reinecke” International Competition in the “own composition” category, 2024 edition, United Kingdom-WOMCO. Third Prize in the International Composition Competition "Percussion Arts Society, Italy" in the category "composition for solo percussionist" 18th edition year 2021; Honorable Mention in the National Composition Contest "Melesio Morales" in the category "Professionals, Symphonic Music" 2nd edition, year 2011 México.

Selected twice for the "Euro-Latin American Meeting of Young Composers INJUVE-Madrid, Spain (2008 and 2002). Selected two consecutive years for the "INBA-SACM Autumn Conference" (2013, 2014). His name appears in the "Encyclopedic Dictionary of Musicians in Mexico", Catalog "Pocci Catalog the guide to the guitarist's modern and contemporary repertoire" and the memory "Guanajuato Artists at the International Cervantino Festival".
